Handmade by Jules at her home in Brisbane, these beauties incorporate the finest quality materials she can lay her hands on: Japanese Miyuki Delica and Toho glass seed beads, ultra flexy 49-strand beading wire, sterling silver chains, clasps and quality tags, and super strong stainless steel jump rings – so they’re perfect for big kids and little kids too.

Your Sugarberry Shimmy pieces should spark joy for you! If they don’t, we’ll bend over backwards to make it better for you.
30-day No Questions Asked Returns
If you’re not feeling the love, return your full-priced jewellery in its original condition and packaging within 30 days of buying or receiving it (whichever comes later), and we’ll give you a full refund. No questions asked. Earrings must be unworn, and we don’t cover the return postage.
Please note that we don’t offer returns on sale items.
Exclusive 24-month Peace of Mind Warranty
Our exclusive 24-month Peace of Mind Warranty covers you against any faults or defects in your Sugarberry Shimmy piece for two years. This is 12 months longer than any big brand jewellery store in Australia.
Our warranty covers defects in the bead weaving and in materials such as clasps, chains and jump rings. It does not cover normal wear and tear or pieces that you’ve damaged by accident or unreasonable treatment, and is void if you’ve had any repair work done on your piece by anyone other than us.

I HAVE SENSITIVE SKIN. WILL I BE ALLERGIC TO YOUR JEWELLERY?
Our jewellery is made of glass seed beads with 14ct gold‑filled, sterling silver or stainless steel findings (see below for what gold‑filled means). The stainless steel ear wires on our beaded fringe earrings are made of 316 surgical stainless steel, but we're happy to swap them for sterling silver if you prefer.
Sugarberry Shimmy jewellery is 100% nickel-free – we've checked every single bead finish!

If you’re generally allergic to gold, silver or stainless steel, you may develop an allergic reaction to our standard jewellery. However, we'd be happy to source some special ear wires just for you in a hypoallergenic metal like niobium. Contact us and we'll work out a solution for you.
We use only the finest quality materials in our pieces. In the unlikely event that you develop an allergic reaction to your Sugarberry Shimmy jewellery, please let us know.
DOES BEADED JEWELLERY REQUIRE SPECIAL CARE?

CAN I GET MY JEWELLERY WET?
Yes! You can get our pieces wet, including the beads and the metal elements. However, some caveats apply…
Don’t wear your Sugarberry Shimmy jewellery in swimming pools, the ocean, or in the shower or bath.
Chlorine, the force of ocean waves and soap and shampoo build-up can all damage your jewellery or leave it looking less than fabulous.

WHAT IS GOLD-FILLED?
Gold‑filled is a solid layer of gold which is mechanically bonded to a base metal. The gold layer in gold‑filled jewellery is 5 to 10 times thicker than gold plating and looks the same as solid gold.
Even with daily wear, gold‑filled jewellery can last from 10 to 30 years. Up to 10 times thicker than gold plating but a fraction of the price of solid gold? We think gold‑filled is pure genius.
